I have an ASUS P5LD2 motherboard. It has a SATA controller but I am currently using 2 EIDE drives which utilize a TI8211 controller driver. The drives are not recognized by Vista. Can someone tell me, would Vista recognize a hard drive if I was using a SATA drive? I'm ready to buy a new hard drive and I will move to SATA if it will make a difference. What is the setup for others with a similar ASUS motherboard that allows them to install the Vista beta? Thanks for any help.
